There's a lot taking place at Bama Bayou these days. Gulf World Marine Park is under construction, and production pilings are in for most of the Bama Bayou Resort. Full construction on the Bama Bayou Resort should begin soon.

Here's a taste of what's to come:
- Bama Bayou Resort will feature nearly 650 units. This resort will be operated as a full-service, first-class hotel.
- Gulf World’s Paradise Resort will offer 24 one-of-a-kind units. Upon completion, this is will be the only resort in the county located inside a marine park. Gulf World’s Paradise Resort is currently under construction! For pre-sale information call 251.224.0100.
- The Bald Cypress Lodge, with approximately 440 units, will overlook Bama Bayou’s world-class water park Bayou Beach. This rustic-style, yet luxurious Lodge will be operated as a full-service, first-class hotel.
- The Convention Center at Bama Bayou is expected to be approximately 68,000 +/- (gross) square feet. Upon completion, this will be one of the largest private convention centers in the State of Alabama.
- The Marina Village at Bama Bayou will feature great shops, restaurants, an amphitheater and transient marina located on the Intracoastal Waterway.
- The Village Shops at Bama Bayou will offer a wonderful array of charming boutiques and eclectic shops.
- Gulf World Marine Park at Bama Bayou will offer a unique, educational sea life experience with dolphins, sea lions, tropical birds and much more. Gulf World is currently under construction!
- Bayou Beach at Bama Bayou is a proposed world-class water park featuring exciting water slides, a massive wave pool and ½ mile long lazy river.
- Bama Bayou’s Nature Walk will allow you the opportunity to view South Alabama’s natural beauty. This area will include over 35 acres of enhanced wetlands.
