Gulf World's Paradise Resort has officially been “topped out.” Concrete for the top floor of the building was recently poured fully forming the entire structure. Now, crews are ready to move on to the marine park. Soon, foundation work will begin on Gulf World's aquarium restaurant. Concrete walls for the 60 foot long, 160-thousand gallon aquarium are already in place. Once completed, this aquarium will be one of the largest in the Southeast and will serve as a backdrop for Gulf World's aquarium restaurant and as a viewing aquarium for the marine park. Work on the aquarium's acrylic walls is also expected to begin soon.
